Fieldwork

A calendar built around your close

Statutory financial auditing is seasonal. We reserve interim weeks, count days, and final file review against the fiscal calendars most common among our Kansai clients—especially March year-ends.

How a statutory engagement occupies the year

  1. October–November · Planning

Engagement letter, materiality discussion, and request list. Controllers share the close calendar and warehouse freeze plan.

  2. December–January · Interim fieldwork

Walkthroughs of revenue and purchasing, interim substantive tests, and early confirmation drafting for bank accounts.

  3. Late March · Inventory observation

Count attendance at plants and third-party warehouses, with cut-off testing on the days surrounding year-end.

  4. April · Final fieldwork & reporting

Trial balance lock, remaining substantive tests, draft findings meeting, opinion, and management letter.

When to reserve your window

March year-end capacity fills by early autumn. December year-ends and ad-hoc control reviews are scheduled in quieter months. Inventory observation days are booked per site—tell us how many warehouses need attendance.

We do not publish a public booking widget. A planning call confirms whether your close dates align with available teams.
